I’ve been in the broadcast business for 18 years having founded and operated one of the nation’s largest LPFM community stations with 75 volunteeers, 46 show hosts and 24/7 fully automated schedules both live and recorded. And we did it all out of 1,000 sq feet of studio. Our team created immediate emergency radio broadcasts and remote broadcasting using only a laptop and a hot spot.. The station’s internet feed boasts over 30K ip addresses every hour world wide. and we carried ABC News hourly as an affiliate station.. Along the way we also created Irish World Radio, broadcasting from Dublin Ireland and remotely operated here in the US along with two other stations and more to come. Our stations broadcast on FM, AM, Broadband, Satellite Channel 8 and through media aggregators including ITunes, Radio Garden, and Tunein for a national and international reach far beyond the traditional local broadcast market.
